Lindy Kollman

White Salmon, WA

Bio

Lindy Kollman was born and raised in Wenatchee on the banks of the Columbia River. As a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, Lindy truly values the people, history, and culture of this part of the world. Professionally, Lindy’s role at Community Engagement Coordinator for Yakima’s nonprofit Memorial Foundation includes fundraising and leadership of programs such as the Youthworks Council, which introduces high school students to philanthropy. Lindy has frequented many of the world’s most famous museums. These experiences augment her belief that Maryhill Museum of Art is a treasure in the Columbia Gorge. In her recreational time, Lindy is usually found in the wild places with her family. Spending time backpacking, summiting Mt. Adams, skiing, paddle boarding, snowshoeing, or most recently learning to fly fish (all while wearing her signature shade of lipstick) helps to keep her heart full and joyous.
