Cynthia was raised on her family wheat ranch near Dufur, OR. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Washington State University. Her career began at Great ‘n’ Small Child Development Center. From there she led orientation and staff training for Mid-Columbia Medical Center. In 2010 she decided to focus on her family’s agricultural businesses. During this time Cynthia served on the boards of Wonderworks Children’s Museum, The Dalles Main Street, Fort Dalles Fourth, Dufur School District Board of Directors, Mid-Columbia Health Foundation, and the Wasco County Fair & Rodeo Board. She joined the staff of Mid-Columbia Health Foundation as event coordinator. In 2020, Cynthia became Executive Director of the Ranger Pride Education Foundation to support Dufur School with fundraising, scholarships, and grant writing.
Cynthia and her husband Jeff have two grown children: Cole, a graduate of Oregon State University and the 5th generation to farm; and Hannah, a student at Oregon State University. Cynthia enjoys outdoor adventures and time at her cabin.
