The 2026 Maryhill Museum of Art fundraiser gala takes place on Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 5–9 pm in The Gorge Room at the Best Western PLUS Hood River Inn, 1108 E Marina Way, Hood River, OR 97031.

This black-tie affair begins with wine from the award-winning Columbia Gorge AVA and hors d’oeuvres. From there, you’ll enjoy a sumptuous dinner inspired by the beauty and bounty of the Columbia River Gorge featuring seasonal ingredients, and an evening of art, history, and fundraising to celebrate the museum’s centennial.

What began as Sam Hill’s dream became a legacy that has inspired generations. A century ago, Queen Marie of Romania lent her royal grace to Maryhill’s dedication, establishing a tradition of beauty, education, and wonder along the Columbia River Gorge. As we mark 100 years of art and enlightenment, we honor the enduring legacy of those dreamers — and the vision that continues to illuminate Maryhill’s future.

Proceeds from the gala support upcoming exhibitions and updates to permanent exhibition galleries; monthly educational and public programs; and free or reduced admission programs.

Parking

All of the parking in front of The Best Western PLUS Hood River Inn is for guests and is complimentary. Guests staying at the hotel overnight will be issued a parking permit from the hotel concierge at arrival.

Rooms

Maryhill Museum of Art has booked a block of rooms at The Best Western PLUS Hood River Inn for the evening of May 16, 2026. For individual reservations, guests may call the hotel directly to make their group room reservation at (800) 828-7873. They should identify themselves as a guest at the Maryhill Museum of Art gala. Reservations may also be made online by clicking the button below. This block of rooms will be available until April 17, 2026 or until sold out, whichever is sooner.
