2024 Fundraiser Gala for Maryhill Museum of Art

Maryhill Museum of Art’s annual fundraiser gala brings together people who support the museum’s mission to ignite a journey of educational enrichment in the Columbia Gorge with exhibitions and programs that preserve and interpret our artistic and historic collections.

Single Tickets are $150 per person. A Hosted Table (8 seats) is $1,000 and includes recognition in our event program PLUS upgraded wine for the table.

Splendor of the River - Maryhill Museum - Columbia Gorge

What to Expect

  • Celebration attire (black-tie optional) encouraged.
  • Event takes place outdoors on the Cannon Power Plaza; the evening may be warm, windy and/or cool.
  • Check-in begins at 5:00 PM. Mingle, enjoy seasonal hors d’oeuvres and wine, and gaze upon the river!
  • Find your seat and listen to speakers from Maryhill Museum of Art while you feast on a memorable dinner featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients created by Cherry City Catering with wine from our neighbors at Maryhill Winery.
  • Support the museum during the Maryhill Museum of Art Paddle Raise, Luxury Ring Raffle Drawing, and Maryhill Splendor Artwork Auction.

How is Gala Support Used?

Your presence and generosity are critical for Maryhill Museum of Art to continue making a profound impact in the lives of students, educators, and artists in the Columbia Gorge as well as visitors from all over the world who come to learn from our spectacular collections and galleries.

Proceeds from the gala support our 2025 exhibition People, Pastorals, and Natures Mortes featuring European and American paintings from the 17th -21st centuries; planned displays in our Indigenous Peoples of North America galleries; monthly educational and public programs; and free or reduced admission programs.

Luxury Ring Raffle Drawing

Luxury Ring Raffle DrawingEnter to win a stunning 18K gold diamond ring! This vintage piece of jewelry (size 5.25) in pristine condition contains 75 round brilliant cut diamonds, VS1/VS2 clarity with a total diamond weight of approximately 5.25 carats. The ring was professionally appraised at a value of over $14,000 in 2020. Just 175 tickets will be sold, and all proceeds benefit the mission of Maryhill Museum of Art.

The winning raffle ticket will be drawn at the fundraiser gala on Saturday, September 7, 2024, but you do not need to be present to win.

Raffle tickets are $100 each and may be purchased at Maryhill Museum of Art. If you’re not able to visit the museum in person, email development@maryhillmuseum.org for raffle ticket pick-up locations in Goldendale, The Dalles, Hood River, White Salmon, Stevenson, Washougal, Portland, Vancouver, and Yakima, facilitated by our Trustees and members.

Maryhill Splendor Artwork Auction

Maryhill SplendorPlein air painter Cathleen Rehfeld, who founded Pacific Northwest Plein Air in the Columbia River Gorge in 2005 (hosted at Maryhill Museum of Art since 2016), created the painting Maryhill Splendor for the 2024 gala invitation theme.

The 10″ x 10″ oil painting will be auctioned for purchase at the gala. This opportunity to win an original artwork and unique memory of the event is available exclusively for attendees!
