The Salon de Refusés and Other Images

The Columbia River: Wallula to the Sea is an exhibition that has been in the works for several years. Join Curator of Art Steve Grafe as he talks about the many works that were considered but not included in the show. He will explain his curatorial goals and the criteria used for adding select paintings and historic photographs while other excellent images ended up on the “cutting room floor.” The talk will last for about 45 minutes, followed by a Q & A period.

This lecture takes place in the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust Education Center and is complimentary with general admission tickets.
