Incoming Curator of Education, Sorcha Meek Paul is delighted to present the upcoming show Teachers as Artists. Maryhill Museum of Art has worked in partnership with Oregon Art Education Association and Washington Art Education Association to showcase teacher talent through juried exhibitions in the museum’s MJ Murdock Charitable Trust Education Center. This juried exhibition has put Maryhill on the map with both Oregon and Washington art educators and has encouraged field trips from a wider range of locations. Juror Lou Palermo will be at the opening reception to announce the following awards: Best in show, First Place, Second place, Third Place, Curator of Education Choice, and several honorable mentions.
