Liz Hunter is the former Executive Director of Cape Cod Museum of Art (2003 – 2012) and co- author of Transcending Vision: R.H. Ives Gammell, 1893–1981 (2001). Gammell was Hunter’s godfather, her father was Gammell’s studio assistant, and her late husband, Robert Douglas Hunter, was one of Gammell’s students.
