Immerse your 3rd and 4th grade students in discovery through hands-on activities, gallery tours, and a performance connecting with the day’s theme of VALUE. State and National standards are important guides for this fun, educational experience.

Spend time in the museum galleries learning how artists use value to create the illusion of light and dark, texture and contrast in their work. Afterwards students will explore new ways to think about the same concepts through a performance of the Oregon Shadow Theatre.

This program is designed for students in 3rd and 4th grade, with schools providing one chaperone per 10 students; program takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
