COVID-19 Updates

MARCH 16, 2020

We are canceling all events through the end of April; we will make every effort to reschedule these programs at a later date. The museum will remain closed until further notice as per current recommendations from the state.

MARCH 14, 2020

Maryhill Museum of Art will be closed until further notice in an effort to further stem the spread of COVID-19. Late yesterday, Gov. Inslee issued a new proclamation banning all activities with 250 people or more statewide for the next six weeks. The official reopening date of the museum will be determined according to recommendations from federal, state, and local health authorities. Read full press release here.

Statement on Precautionary Measures at Maryhill

We take the safety and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers, and guests seriously. Mindful of the concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are committed to being responsive, heeding guidance on preventative measures from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as Washington State and County guidelines.

We thoroughly clean spaces throughout museum, and are taking extra steps to disinfect high-touch areas such as tables and chairs, handrails, doorknobs, and elevators. We are also providing hand sanitizer in several locations through

out the museum and have posted hand-washing reminders in the restrooms.

While we would love to see you at the museum this spring, if you are sick, we urge you to stay home and avoid close contact with others, as recommended by the CDC and local health authorities.

How You Can Support Maryhill During This Closure

Maryhill is a vessel of community and connection and we look forward to serving that important role once this passes. If you are able to continue to support Maryhill while we are closed, we would be most grateful. Please consider making a donation or purchasing a membership for yourself or as a gift.
