The Arthur G. Dunn Guild of Maryhill Museum was formed in 1986 by Ruth Marie Gratzer to honor longtime Seattle resident Arthur G. Dunn Junior. Throughout his lifetime Mr. Dunn inspired his friends to support Maryhill Museum, as he had during his 40 years of involvement — first as a board member and then as a long-standing member of the Finance Committee.

Mission
The Guild's primary mission is to serve as a fund raising body within the Seattle metropolitan area for Maryhill Museum. Each year a financial gift is given to Maryhill Museum from the proceeds of the lively and hospitable Guild social functions. Past gifts have been used by Maryhill Museum for the conservation of Solitude and the historic Sam Hill Globe; purchase the casting models for Rodin's Sorrow; The Grace Blue, a sculpture by Jeff Weitzel; interpretative panels for Loops Road; and he purchase of oak gallery benches.

A secondary mission of the Guild is to further awareness and support for Maryhill Museum in the greater Seattle area.

Guild Events
Guild events are open to both members and non-members.

Guild Membership
Guild membership is open to all individuals with an interest in supporting Maryhill Museum of Art. To learn more about the Arthur G. Dunn Guild, please visit their website.

The Legacy Society — Gifts and Planned Giving

Maryhill Museum of Art is a very special place that we would like to grow so that it can continue to enchant visitors of all ages for years to come. To do this, Maryhill needs a strong endowment that will provide a stable source of income and allow the museum to plan for its future. Gifts to the Legacy Society can be outright gifts of money, property or investments or made as a planned gift. These become a permanent legacy that provides benefits to year after year, generation after generation, nurturing the museum and its spirit. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Legacy Society please call (509) 773-3733 or email the Development Office for more information about this program.

Memorials or Tributes
