There are a wide variety of ways for students to become acquainted with Maryhill Museum. The museum offers school programs at the museum especially tailored for grades 4 to 12. Educational programs are offered at the museum on weekdays by appointment. For admissions, hours and additional information, please see School Visits & Programs.
Third and fourth grade classes spend a day of exploration and fun at the museum during a special Museum Week each year during October. The program will vary according to the changing exhibits for the year. See Museum Week for the program for this season, admissions and reservation information.
Students can learn about the museum's unique collections and history through this self-directed Art Discovery activity.
A traveling exhibit, Making Beauty: Contemporary American Indian Art from the Plateau, suitable for all ages is available to regional schools. For additional information and reservations, please see Traveling School Exhibit.
Maryhill Museum can reimburse bus transportation costs, for a limited number of classrooms, up to $250. See Bus Reimbursement Program to apply for this program.
