The Arthur G. Dunn Guild of Maryhill Museum was formed in 1986 by Ruth Marie Gratzer to honor longtime Seattle resident Arthur G. Dunn Junior. Throughout his lifetime Mr. Dunn inspired his friends to support Maryhill Museum, as he had during his 40 years of involvement — first as a board member and then as a long-standing member of the Finance Committee.

Mission
The Guild's primary mission is to serve as a fund raising body within the Seattle metropolitan area for Maryhill Museum. Each year a financial gift is given to Maryhill Museum from the proceeds of the lively and hospitable Guild social functions. Past gifts have been used by Maryhill Museum for the conservation of Solitude and the historic Sam Hill Globe; purchase the casting models for Rodin's Sorrow; The Grace Blue, a sculpture by Jeff Weitzel; interpretative panels for Loops Road; and the purchase of oak gallery benches.
