Everyone is invited to Maryhill Museum of Art for an afternoon of poetry and prose. All members of the audience are invited to share their favorite poems. Free with museum admission.

Family Fun: Draw Your Own Landscape

Drop in for an afternoon of self-guided art making. Drawing inspiration from Maryhill's magnificent surroundings, visitors of all ages are invited to create a landscape.

Explore your creativity at the Maryhill Art Tent, featuring free drop-in art activities and open to all ages during the Maryhill Arts Festival.

Family Fun: Puppet Making & Puppet Show

Join us from 11:00 t0 11:45 for a hands-on puppet making workshop, then at noon enjoy a puppet show, The Ugliest Duckling, performed by Portland's renowned Tears of Joy Theater.

Veggie car races

Saturday, October 6, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Family Fun: Veggie Car Races

Join in the fun at the annual Classic Veggie Car Races just for kids. Children can put their ingenuity to work transforming humble veggies into fantastically engineered cars and race them on a 12 foot ramp for thrills and chills. Kids of all ages are invited to participate in this fun outdoor activity. Races start at 1 p.m.

Sunday, November 11
End of Season Program and Veteran's Day

Maryhill Museum of Art extends free admission to veterans and active military members on Veteran's Day. At 2 p.m. join us for a Lecture: The Pacific Northwest in World War Two with author Kurt Nelson, author of Fighting for Paradise: A Military History of the Pacific Northwest, provides insight into a little-known area of American military history rich in drama.
